Nathan Bryant grew up in rural Maine with 9 siblings – including twin, Philip – and served as an associate pastor with the Waldorf Grace Brethren Church in Maryland from 1993 to 1997 where he was ordained. Nathan became a career missionary with the Grace Brethren Fellowship in 1997 and subsequently served as team leader for the Canadian church planting ministry which eventually became GBCanada. During his tenure at Waldorf, he concurrently directed Total Mobilization Support Ministries, a U.S. ministry involving short-term mission projects throughout Latin America and Asia, until he resigned in 2006. TMSM has taken him to Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Cambodia.
Nathan holds a Bible Certificate from New Brunswick Bible Institute, a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington Bible College and graduated from Capital Bible Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. He currently serves as the Executive Director of GBCanada and GBCanada USA. He also functions as part of the pastoral team at Grace Community Church, the first Grace Brethren church planted in Canada in 1998. He is a board member for the Grace Brethren Missionary Herald Company and serves on The Fellowship Council of the FGBC.
Nathan and his wife, Jennifer, have two young sons, Isaiah and Micah. Nathan enjoys basketball, watching football, talking about Jesus, church planting and Kingdom expansion.
